As former resident and house manager of this compnay, I strongly recommend you do your homework on this company, the people who run it and what alternatives are out there. Not al sober living homes are like these. Owner Frank Montero has created a company of sober living based on a noble premise but now profits from a sham. What was once good, is now a dangerous network of unmonitored and unkempt houses designed for people in early recovery. Even those with true intentions to get and stay clean will have a difficult time in these homes as there is no trained staff or oversight by management. The company is thinly staffed and the motives of their management is designed and based off of selling beds. Follow-up by staff and house maintenance is essentially non existent. I am writing this review to make people aware and to urge prospectives to look deeper into this company. If you need to move in, visit the house. Ask industry professionals in the area and others who may have knowledge of these houses. The decision to move and make a commitment to sober living is a good one but it makes a big difference if you are able to get the help you need. TLC will likely come up short based on the intentions at its core, the untrained and unpaid staff, and the inability of the owner to invest in his own company for the betterment of the people who rely on him for help.
